Virat Kohli went out for a four ball duck on his return to international cricket. But it wasn’t his score that made the news, it was actually the way he was fired. Despite the ball hitting the bat first, Kohli was awarded to LBW from Ajaz Patel. However, third referee Virender Sharma felt that the evidence was insufficient and asked field referee Anil Chaudhary to stick with his decision. This enraged Kohli and he reported his disappointment to the referee before leaving. On the way out, he hit the stick on the ground. Twitter went crazy as soon as they found out what happened. We bring you the best reactions.
The greatest comedy was when the Third Referee forgot to track the ball and gave up.— Johns. (@CricCrazyJohns) December 3, 2021

Hopefully BCCI now offers Hotspot with Ultraedge. Both are really important, especially Hotspot during LBW reviews.—Mufaddal Vohra (@mufaddal_vohra) December 3, 2021
Earlier India Ajaz Patel was in the midst of some trouble as he managed to trigger a collapse with the wickets of Cheteshwar Pujara (0) and Shubman Gill (44).
Earlier on Friday, Virat Kohli is back to lead the Team India Against New Zealand in Mumbai in the second and final Test of the 2-game series. He won the toss and opted to strike first against the Tom Latham-led Black Caps at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
With a wide smile on his face after winning the toss, Kohli talked about the three mandatory changes made to XI. In the early morning hours, BCCI confirmed that the trio of Ishant Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Ajinkya Rahane had been excluded from the Mumbai Test due to their injuries. His assistant was replaced by the captain, while the other two were replaced by Jayant Yadav and Mohammed Siraj.
