The Petitions Committee has scheduled a debate on a petition relating to Black history and cultural diversity in the curriculum.
Chris Evans MP, a member of the Petitions Committee, will open the debate. Nick Gibb MP, Minister for School Standards, will respond on behalf of the Government.

The Committees heard compelling evidence from academics, educators, students, and petitioners on the need for changes to the curriculum, to ensure students experience a truly diverse education.
